Full face helmets are the best way to protect yourself when on a motorcycle. The 360 degree design of a full face helmet protects your entire head and face, decreasing your chance of injury and increasing your comfort level by providing a barrier against wind, water and noise. When it comes to choosing which full face helmet is right for you, the options are endless. From full race helmets designed to give you a competitive edge to touring helmets packed with creature comforts.

The most common types of motorcycle helmets are those composed of ABS or polycarbonate, they are also the cheapest. This is because they are thermoplastics, which means they can be heated up and molded around a head-form, which is a fairly quick process and makes them suitable for mass-production on a large scale.

This one is like A606 but made of ABS, so it’s cheaper than helmets made of fiberglass or carbon. Essentially, how much it matters what the helmet material is made up of, is up to the consumer, as long as it protects your head and does its job, it may not matter at all.
