Made of fibre, also known as composite, or thermoplastic resin, off-road helmets must possess a very important property: a great ventilation capacity. This is because the practise of any off-road modality demands a great physical effort, therefore it’s of utmost importance to have a helmet with a removable interior. In this way it’s much easier to clean after prolonged use. An off-road helmet is not just for motocross or enduro, but you can also practise supermoto with it. This speciality combines concrete with dirt and an off-road helmet is the most suitable one to avoid dust and dirt getting in, as well as for improved ventilation compared to a road helmet.

As regards safety and functionality, you have to pay attention to the fasteners: there are those with double ring, micrometric and quick type. Also, we are starting to incorporate emergency quick release systems where, in the event of a serious fall, the helmet can be safely removed by the emergency staff.

How to Measure

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. Pull the tape comfortably snug, read the length, repeat for good measure and use the largest measurement.
